Get Free Woodbury, Minneapolis and Twin Cities School Reports From Local Experts, Quickly by Email Woodbury is served by three independent public school districts. The majority of the city is located in the South Washington County School District 833. The Stillwater Area Schools (District 834) and the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale District 622 also provide service to the community. District 833 operates six elementary schools, two junior highs and a senior high school in Woodbury. Districts 834 and 622 have no school facilities within Woodbury. However, Valley Crossing School, 9900 Park Crossing, is a collaborative elementary that serves students from all three public school districts. Two parochial schools, New Life Academy and St. Ambrose, are located in Woodbury. A private school, Footprints Academy, currently enrolls students in grades K-2, and plans to expand in the future. The city also is home to the Math and Science Academy, which is a District 833 charter school, and the Crosswinds Middle School, which serves middle school students from several east metro area school districts. (Contact St. Paul School District 625 regarding Crosswinds.) Everyone offers free school reports. We do too! Plus we offer more. Bargain Properties >Such A Deal
Most sellers know that buyers are attracted to homes that are spotlessly clean, well-maintained and tastefully decorated. Sometimes the seller can't make the extra effort to prepare the home for showing. Some real estate listings are being sold to settle estates or by someone who has been transferred unexpectedly and didn't have time to complete the necessary cosmetic repairs. Homes that need work are often exceptional values.
When a real estate agent shows you a house that needs help, try to imagine how it would look with new carpet, a fresh coat of paint and your furniture settled inside. Because the condition and overall appeal of a house have such an impact on the selling price, "fixer-uppers" are often priced lower than comparable homes. If the home is structurally sound and has updated systems, a small investment of "elbow grease" and paint could make it look fabulous.
